Niche selection is key here. I chose what I thought would be a good one, Winning at Poker. Target audience was something like 1.3M. $20 later I only had 19 likes. C’est le vie.

I plan on having at least 500 fans in the next 30 days. Currently only at 37… So I’ve got some work to do. Haven’t made it through all of the training yet, but will be in the next few weeks.

I created it a while ago before I got the FB training from you and even had someone help out with the design at that time.
I finally ran a test ad a few weeks ago for a couple of days but have it on hold until I can get my click rates down.
Does it work for business to business stuff? I do marketing for small businesses, and am not yet really convinced that people are much interested in business stuff on Facebook. Most people, myself included, seem to be there to socialise and get involved with their hobbies and interests.

Great job, Lance. I learned how to do this from you and Robert. While mine is not as big as yours it is coming along really well and it is growing organically at a good pace. My fans seem to love it.

Sounds easy. Looks cool. Some maintenance. Some ad spend to get fans. But how do you monetise it? What has RSN returned you in $$?

I have not advertised for that specific page since there were about 15k fans
As far as monetizing that specific fan page. I have only posted a few amazon links. Take a look at http://www.setupafanpage.com

The fan page I created has 1,927 fans. I paid to build it up to about 1200, then pause all the ads for it, and now it is growing on its own.
I will definitely cross the 2000-fan barrier this week or this month. I’m not sure if I’m going to keep posting Amazon ads to it, flip it or give it to someone as a gift.
You will discover 75 people that don’t know everything that great favorite songs sounds like.
