As you can see, there are differing opinions on the use of this script. I guess it comes down to trust right? If you don’t trust that I am not stealing your Twitter password then you probably aren’t going to buy from either!

It does generate a lot of traffic.

Like anything else it is just a tool. How it is used in the hands of the person… well..

Lance, just had to have a look at your blog after you (jokingly) accused me of spamming Robert's blog! I'm interested in your results because I've just started using Twitter more seriously, although I'm still not convinced about the viral tweeting. I have an awful feeling it will get misused by others fairly fast and that will spoilt it for everyone. Your daughter's a cutie and it looks like she's the boss! Yeah, I didn’t think you were harvesting. But it can give the impression.

Assume it’s a digital camera. Nice thing about digital is you never run out of film. Batteries now, are a different matter.

Thanks for the comments on the article. That code does not store the password at all, it simply uses the information one time to make an API call to Twitter.

But your right, it definitely is not the effect I am looking for.
